Bowling & Victoria Gardens
November 15, 2016
One of our many traditions at ACA is the international student bowling trip. Every year, teams of students compete for the right to be called “best bowlers,” a title that is quickly celebrated and even more quickly forgotten. Win or lose, we all have fun spending time together and cheering each other on. Of course, it’s never a bad thing when pizza is involved, either.
Some noteworthy achievements:
Isaiah H. had the high score for the day with a 117. Looks like we could all use more practice!
Lucky Y. earned his English name by rolling several strikes. Maybe he should change his name to “Skilled.”
Mr. Prior proved it is possible to bowl with a baby strapped to your chest. A little awkward, but possible.
This year, we also added a shopping excursion at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, where students could expand their wardrobes, do a little window shopping, or stand in line at the Apple Store. What a way to spend a Saturday!
